Our Water

Aqua Fresca is Timor-Leste’s first and only locally produced drinking water brand to hold both ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications, setting a new standard for quality, safety, and trust in the country.

As the pioneer in locally bottled water, Aqua Fresca not only provides a reliable source of clean, great-tasting hydration but also champions local economic development and environmental sustainability by reducing the need for imported water.

Our ISO 22000 certification reflects our commitment to internationally recognized food safety standards. This certification ensures that every stage of our water production—from source to bottle—is managed under a comprehensive food safety management system, emphasizing hygiene, traceability, and quality control.

In addition, our HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification confirms that we rigorously identify, evaluate, and control any potential risks in the production process. This proactive approach ensures the safety and consistency of our water, giving consumers peace of mind with every sip.

Aqua Fresca is more than just water—it’s a symbol of progress, purity, and pride for Timor-Leste.

Sustainability

Aqua Fresca is proud to partner with Caltech Environmental Materials Recycling Centre as part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability. This collaboration reflects our belief that high-quality drinking water should not come at the expense of the planet.

Through our work with Caltech Group, we actively support responsible waste management and recycling initiatives in Timor-Leste. Together, we focus on reducing plastic waste by promoting the collection, processing, and reuse of recyclable materials, particularly PET bottles used in our packaging.

This partnership enables Aqua Fresca to take meaningful steps toward a circular economy—where materials are reused rather than discarded—helping to minimize our environmental footprint. By incorporating sustainable practices into our operations, we aim to lead by example and inspire positive change across the country.

Our collaboration with Caltech Group reinforces our vision of a cleaner, greener Timor-Leste, where innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
